Ultimate gift guide for crafters. A gift list for every crafter you’re shopping for Christmas.

There’s nothing worse than not knowing what gift to buy. As an avid crafter I thought I would create a crafting gift guide to ease some of the holiday stress you’re feeling.  Now if I am being honest I could probably open up a craft store in my craft room. In fact a craft room wasn’t large enough and I now have a craft basement.

So what would be on my list for Santa to bring on Christmas?

A cutting machine

This is on the higher end side of the list but believe me every crafter wants either a Cricut or a Silhouette. So what’s a cutting machine. Well think of it as a printer but instead of printing it cuts. It can cut paper, vinyl, HTV, fabric and much more. Allowing your crafter to scrapbook, paper craft, make stencils, signs, tshirts and totes!

Looking to cut through thicker materials? Try the Cricut Maker.  Below are the two cutting machines I own, yes I own them both. (I said I could open my own store!)

Cricut Explore Air 2

Silhouette Cameo 3

What about a Heat Press?

Does your crafter already have a cutting machine? Or you just want to go all out? I suggest buying a Cricut Easy Press. It’s a more compact version of a heat press that will allow you to used heat transfer vinyl to make shirts, totes, koozies, hats and sooo much more. If you were thinking about a heat press but were worried about storage or safety this is a great solution. I love mine.

So what else?

Looking for something slightly smaller or more affordable? I love my Xyron Creative station. Now I have the older green version of this in the photo above but I wanted to share the latest edition. Basically this is a sticker maker, laminator and magnet maker all in one!

The Silhouette Life Inspiration box is a monthly subscription service that any silhouette crafter would love to receive! Sign up and each month a box of projects comes to your door. What I love about this is that it actually gets you to actively use your silhouette machine instead of it collecting dust on the shelves.

Handlettering is hot right now. Whether you have good handwriting or not it is being used as a way to destress. Move over adult coloring books we will be practicing our handlettering.

Tombow Dual Brushes

Crafters cut a lot, glue a lot and generally tend to leave a “craftermath.” I love my craft mat to protect my surfaces and contain my mess. It is probably the most used item in my craft room and doesn’t nearly look this clean.

Craft Tape

Mini Glue Gun

I hope this was helpful and started to get your mind in motion as to what to get the crafter in your life. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!
