I seek inspiration for my projects from objects I can repurpose. I tend to scour Goodwill, Savers, Salvation Army and on occasion flea markets or antique shops. I typically will look for mirrors and frames to paint or make into cork or chalkboards.
I found this great alphabet mirror at Savers for $3. Looking past the alphabet I saw an excellent foundation for a hand painted mirror. With chevrons being everywhere at the moment I wanted to try my hand at them. Painting them freehand seemed too daunting. Below are some images on how I used a grid and painters tape to create a chevron mirror to sell on my Etsy.
