Sangria is one of my favorite cocktails. Traditionally it is made with wine, liquor and fruit juices. There are tons of different ways to make it making the combinations endless.
What’s fun about that is you can create a base recipe and switch it up every season. One of my original cocktail recipes was this red, white and blush sangria. I have become known for it in my friend group during the Summer. If you are looking for a sangria for the holidays check out this Christmas Sangria.
My friend Amy from Atta Girl Says and l love Fall cocktails. Besides the foliage it might just be out favorite thing about Fall. Have some extra cider from your sangria? Make these apple cider mimosas. I also cannot wait to try these apple cider mules.

How do you make a white wine apple cider sangria?
This recipe is so good you are going to want to make it by the pitcher. So let’s grab a large pitcher and add cinnamon sticks, apples, oranges and cranberries.
Pour white wine, apple cider and vodka into your pitcher and stir. Refrigerate for an hour or longer. The longer it sits the tastier it will be, within reason.
Feeling fancy? Rim the glasses with caramel before pouring.

What is the best type of white wine for sangria?
When you are looking for a white wine for sangria you will want a drier wine that is crisp and fresh but has more acid.
- Sauvignon Blanc
- Pinot Grigio
- Grenache Blanc
The best place to buy wine and stay on budget is Trader Joe’s. I like this Kono Sauvignon Blanc it’s under $10. I also like the Griphone Pinot Grigio which is under $8 a bottle.
