This past weekend I help throw a bridal shower for my future sister in law. As we all know along with showers comes games and with games you need prizes! My sister had recently gone to a friends shower and the prizes were manicure or pedicures in a mason jar. What a great idea!

Now you will need to go to probably a few stores to get everything that you need but it’s relatively inexpensive. We got the mason jars at Michaels along with the ribbon and scrapbook paper and everything else is from the dollar store and CVS.

What you’ll need

  • Mason Jar
  • Nail Polish
  • Nail File
  • Cotton Rounds
  • Cuticle Pusher
  • Lotion
  • Nail Clippers
  • Foam Toe Separators
  • Ribbon
  • Scrapbook Paper

Using the lid as a guide trace it on to the back of the scrapbook paper and cut out the circle. This will make a fun decorative insert for the top of the jar. Neatly place the nail polish and other items into the jar. Cut a piece of ribbon to size and place the lid on the jar and tie the ribbon into a nice bow. We played a fun game called What’s in your purse? The winner with the most points won a kit. Overall these were a success and a big hit at the party.

Sharing is caring!

  1. Super cute gift idea, I love it! I may make it for myself, but still dress it up in the container since it is so pretty! 🙂 Thanks for linking it up to Merry Monday! Can’t wait to see what you link up next!
