This weekend was the start of good weather and you know what that means?! It’s time to go yard saleing! This was the first weekend up in New England where we started to see the familiar homemade yard sale signs posted on telephone poles. My brother and I got up early on Saturday to drive around. If you don’t have the Yard Sale Treasure Map app on your phone you are missing out. It compiles all the yard sales listed on craigslist and puts it on an interactive map at your fingertips.

Here are some of my finds that will be either upcycled or resold at Brimfield in May. (Make sure to stick around until the end for a chance to enter a giveaway!)

Apple Bushel Baskets I am hoping to make into lights.

Vintage Ball wire mason jars! I am so excited about this find! I bought 9 of them for only $7.

I have a soft spot for Baroque mirrors. Although it is a reproduction not bad for $1. I am going to spruce it up with some elbow grease and paint.

I actually scored some of these last weekend at the Rhode Island Antique Mall. A vintage tiffany typewriter stand, 3 globes (which I can’t wait to share what I am doing with these), a gorgeous acrylic painting for my craft room and a Dumbo figurine.

For the next month and a half yard saleing and auctions are going to fill my weekends! If you like seeing what we’ve picked let us know and we will keep sharing!

One of my good blogger friends Gabby, from Essentially Eclectic, is celebrating her 1st Blogiversary! I am so excited to be apart of celebrating this milestone. If you haven’t been over to her blog check it out she is a great lifestyle blogger who has a little something for everyone from recipes, to soap making and crafting.

Make sure to enter to win some great prizes including a$75 gift card and a $25 store credit to my etsy shop!
