Guys I am so excited to be showing you today a holiday printable I made with Glitter Prints paper. Which is a new product from Core’dinations. It’s glitter that you can print on without it flaking off and making a mess of your printer and your home. Let’s face it I still have glitter from halloween on my hardwood floors! So to try it out I decided to make a some festive artwork to add to my sideboard.

What You’ll Need

  • Core’dinations InkJet Glitter Prints
  • 8×10 Frame
  • Tape
  • Ink Jet Printer
  • Merry & Bright Printable (download here)

I created this Merry & Bright printable. I tried to keep a more whimsical feeling than traditional when designing it. I love the brush letters of Merry & Bright. If you would like to use this artwork yourself you can download it here.

This printable is for personal use only. NO alteration or sales of any kind. Thank you!

Now to use the glitter prints I placed the paper in my inkjet printer glitter side down. This may vary from printer to printer. The trick is to use a test print with regular paper draw an x on it and see which way your printer prints.

When printing I selected cards stock and best quality.

I love the way the printed letters stand out from the glitter but yet the glitter still shines through. I was overall very impressed with the quality.

Now a lot of the times when printing for an 8×10 frame I often keep my piece of paper at 8.5×11 not trimming it down. I do this so if there is a matte on the frame you can tape your artwork to the matte. This will secure it in place so it doesn’t move around. Just make sure you are designing towards the matte size and not the paper size.

Core’dinations Glitter Prints are now available at Hobby Lobby and Michaels (under Michaels private label) and coming to Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts Stores and A.C. Moore in early 2016
