How to infuse whiskey with this apple cinnamon whiskey recipe. Perfect to sip on or make into a fall cocktail.
I look forward to Fall mostly just for the Fall flavors, well maybe the cooler weather too. I am the first in line for a pumpkin spice latte when it arrives… I even consider that day the first day of Fall. I am basic to the core and I embrace it. So why would you think it would be any different when it comes to my cocktails?
I love to infuse vodkas so I thought why not try to infuse whiskey? I had apple pie moonshine a few years ago when I was in Tennessee and it just tasted like fall in a mason jar. I was inspired by that to make apple cinnamon infused whiskey.
Fall Cocktails
I love fall cocktails so much that myself and some of my favorite bloggers are throwing a fall cocktail party! Every Saturday for the next few weeks we will be posting some of our favorite Fall alcoholic drinks. This Summer we hosted a summer cocktail party that included Pina Colada shots, strawberry lemonade vodka freeze pops, pineapple coconut mojito, aperol spritz and many more.
3 Ingredients
This is a simple recipe and really you will just need 3 ingredients and a mason jar. I chose to use honey whiskey since it already has a bit of sweetness to it. I also already had some in my bar cart. I picked a gala apple but really any kind of apple will work. You will also need cinnamon sticks.
Now cinnamon sticks can be expensive but I want to tell you my trick. In the spices aisle at my grocery store they are $7.99 but if you go two aisles over to the international section you can find them with the spanish spices for .99. I can’t believe I ever paid full price for cinnamon sticks!

This looks pretty fabulous! I love honey whiskey and apple cinnamon, so I must try this soon! Also, you can get cinnamon sticks at the dollar tree too. I never knew you could get them in the mexican spices aisle, I will check there for sure.
I’ve never infused whiskey, but I think I need to now. This sounds so good and perfect for fall!
This sounds amazing! I’m pretty sure I’d drink a shot and call it dessert!
