Cinnamon Honey Butter Ingredients
- Softened Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
- Ground Cinnamon
- Honey
Why use unsalted butter?
With a compound butter or flavored butter you want to be able to control the amount of salt. Since we are making a cinnamon honey recipe which is on the sweet side unsalted butter is a better choice without the added salt. All butter is delicious butter but unsalted is preferred.
How to make homemade cinnamon honey butter
Add softened butter to a small bowl. Mix until smooth. Add in cinnamon and honey. Mix until combined. You can also use a hand mixer or stand mixer and whip on high speed for a creamy butter or fluffy honey butter.
Once combined lay out a piece of plastic wrap on a cutting board. Shape your butter into a log or tube like shape in the center of the plastic wrap. Wrap the plastic wrap tightly around it and twist the ends like a tootsie roll. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight until it firms up.

- 1/2 Cup of Unsalted Butter (1 stick)
- 2 Tablespoons of Honey
- 1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon.
Instructions
- Add softened butter to a small bowl. Mix until smooth.
