An easy roasted broccoli and cauliflower recipe baked on a sheet pan. Tender florets with just the right amount of crispiness. This makes for a great side dish for any entree.

A serving dish holding roasted broccoli and cauliflower rests on top of a wooden board on the kitchen counter, a plate of pork chops peaks into the background from out of frame.

Growing up I am not sure you could get me to eat broccoli and cauliflower. Now I make this roasted broccoli and cauliflower recipe at least twice a month. It’s such a simple and easy recipe where the insides of the broccoli and cauliflower are tender and the outside has the perfect amount of crispiness.

Roasted broccoli and cauliflower are a nutritious side dish that pairs well with just about any entree. I love that it can be made in just minutes with a handful of ingredient. A great recipe whether you are roasting vegetables for a quick weeknight dinner or a holiday meal.

I also really like to air fry broccoli or baked green beans. This side dish goes great with these shake and bake pork chops. Looking for something a little different? We love to make slow cooker cabbage especially with pork!

Ingredients

  • Broccoli and Cauliflower – Fresh is key to this recipe, to save time you can use pre-cut broccoli or cauliflower florets.
  • Olive Oil – Just enough to coat the vegetables, you could also use olive oil sprayer.
  • Garlic Powder – An easy pantry staple, which coats the florets better than minced garlic.
  • Seasonings – You can add as much or as little to your preference, and the main three that I use are kosher salt, black pepper and garlic powder. Customize the recipe to your liking by adding additional spices such as red pepper flakes, onion powder, lemon zest, or parmesan cheese
