Tip Tuesday-Making Your Silhouette Mat Sticky Again
Now I have had my Silhouette since October of 2013 and I am still using the original mat and I am a heavy user of my machine. I use it three or more times a week. Including making hundreds of cupcake toppers and invitations for my etsy shop. So here is my secret I lightly spray my mat with spray adhesive about every other week. It works amazing. The key is to spray the mat and let it dry a few minutes before putting your paper or vinyl on the mat. Hope this helps and makes your mats live a longer crafting life.

I see you are using Krylon spray adhesive. is it a particular type?
I actually used what I had in my closer which is the permanent spray with extended repositioning time (or something like that). That is why I let it dry a few mins before placing anything on the mat.
