Alcoholic Whipped Coffee

Dalgona coffee or whipped coffee has been all over the internet. I have finally jumped on that band wagon and tried it. Today I am going to be showing you how to make a whipped coffee cocktail. Now you may have tried my whipped coffee martini but today I am going to show you how to make a cocktail that is similar to an iced latte but spiked.

What is Whipped Coffee or a Dalgona Coffee?

Whipped coffee or dalgona coffee is whipped sugar, warm water and instant coffee that turns into a delicious  cloud like foam of strong coffee. Top a glass of iced milk and stir to make a strong coffee beverage. As someone from Rhode Island or Southern Massachusetts its reminiscent of coffee milk. Have you ever tried autocrat or eclipse coffee syrup?

Here’s What You’ll Need to make a whipped Coffee Cocktail

Whipped Coffee Cocktail

Alcoholic Whipped Coffee

An alcoholic twist on whipped (Dalgona) Coffee. Similar to an espresso martini but more fun with a dollop of whipped coffee espresso vodka, creamy Godiva chocolate liqueur and Rum Chata. The perfect brunch cocktail or the pep in your step before a night out.

Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp of Hot Water
  • 2 tbsp of Sugar
  • 2 tbsp of Instant Coffee
  • 1oz Espresso Vodka
  • 1 oz Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
  • 1 oz Rum Chata
  • 1/2 cup Ice
  • 1/4-1/2 Cup of Milk

Instructions

Add hot water, sugar an instant coffee to a bowl or stand mixer. Whisk until it because light in color, smooth and airy.

In a shaker pour espresso, vodka, rum chata, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur and milk over ice.

Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds. Pour into a glass filled with ice. Top with whipped coffee and serve cold. I like to stir the whipped coffee and incorporate it into the cocktail.

Notes

If you like a sweeter martini you can add chocolate syrup.

Van Gogh espresso vodka is my favorite for this recipe.
