Whipped coffee or Dalgona Coffee has been trending across the globe and I have finally jumped on that band wagon. Today I am going to be showing you how to make a whipped coffee martini. Full disclosure it took about 5 weeks for my instant coffee to arrive from amazon but it was worth the wait! So good in-fact I wanted to make a cocktail or two with whipped coffee.

Here’s What You’ll Need to make a whipped Coffee Martini

What is Whipped Coffee or a Dalgona Coffee?

Whipped Dalgona coffee is whipped sugar, warm water and instant coffee that makes a fluffy foam of strong coffee. Most serve it over a glass of iced cold milk stirring it to make a frothy beverage. As someone from Southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island it reminds me of coffee milk. Have you ever tried autocrat or eclipse coffee syrup?

How to make Whipped Coffee

Whipped coffee is really simple to make all you need is to whisk together 2 tbsp of warm water, 2 tbsp of sugar and 2 tbsp of instant coffee. The mixture will start off really dark but as you start to whip air into it, it will become a caramel color and begin to fluff up and become cloudlike.

You can whip this by hand but I strongly recommend you use a stand or hand mixer. It will save you from working out those arms!

Have you tried an espresso martini? This is one always a favorite. Want it a little sweeter? Try a mocha espresso martini
