I love pumpkin ice cream, it is one of my favorite Fall flavors. I wanted to try to make pumpkin ice cream in my Ninja Creami. It turned out so great and I’ve been making it weekly the last month. I grabbed a can of pumpkin puree knowing that it would make this recipe even simpler. The pumpkin puree along with the pumpkin pie spice makes the ice cream taste like an pumpkin pie!

Turns out it is really easy to make pumpkin ice cream! When I was looking for a recipe to make in my Ninja Creami I found that most recipes were complicated or made with jello, pudding mix or protein powder. So I decided to simplify the ingredients with using heavy cream, milk, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice and pumpkin puree.

It only takes about 5-10 minutes to make. Throw it in the freezer and the next day you have a homemade ice cream. Want to try another Ninja Creami ice cream recipe try apple ice creampeach ice cream, pina colada ice cream or strawberry ice cream.

Pumpkin Ice Cream Ingredients

  • Heavy Cream– This can also be called heavy whipping cream.
  • Milk– Whole Milk is suggested but I always use what I have on hand which is 1%.
  • Brown Sugar– Light brown sugar.
  • Pumpkin Puree– Canned pumpkin puree make sure it’s not pumpkin pie filling.
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice– A mix of cinnamon, ginger, cloves, allspice and nutmeg.
  • Vanilla Extract– I prefer pure vanilla extract but imitation will also work.
