Strawberry ice cream is just such a classic ice cream flavor. It was one of the first flavor of ice cream I made with my Ninja Creami. I wanted to figure out a way to make a strawberry ice cream with real strawberries not just strawberry flavoring or jello mix.

Well it was really easy to make Ninja Creami strawberry ice cream. I decided to simplify the ingredients with using heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract and fresh strawberries.

It only takes about 5-10 minutes to make. Throw it in the freezer and the next day you have a homemade ice cream. Want to try another Ninja Creami ice cream recipe? Try this peach ice cream or pina colada ice cream.

What is a Ninja Creami?

The Ninja Creami is an ice cream maker that makes making homemade ice cream at home easy! It also can make sorbet, gelato, frozen yogurt, Italian ice, milkshakes and slushies.

I am using the 11 in 1 Deluxe Ninja Creami that came with extra quarts. This tends to be the pricier one because of the additional functions. I have had it for 3 or 4 months and I have to say I really like it. We are definitely getting use out of it this Summer. We always have about 4 pints in the freezer ready to eat.

Now there are cheaper models that don’t have as many function. I still think these are a really great option and I’ve seen them on sale a lot.

Strawberry Ice Cream Ingredients

  • Heavy Cream– This can also be called heavy whipping cream.
  • Milk– Whole Milk is suggested but I always use what I have on hand which is 1%.
  • Sugar– White granulated sugar.
  • Strawberries– Fresh strawberries cut in halves.
  • Vanilla Extract– I prefer pure vanilla extract but imitation will also work.
