What is a Ninja Creami?
For those who aren’t familiary, the Ninja Creami is an ice cream maker that makes making homemade ice cream at home easy! It also can make sorbet, gelato, frozen yogurt, Italian ice, milkshakes and slushies. I am using the 11 in 1 Deluxe Ninja Creami that came with extra quarts. This tends to be the pricier one because of the additional functions.
For those who are more budget conscious, there are cheaper models that don’t have as many functions but still made a delicious ice cream. These are a really great option and they tend to go on sale, so keep your eye out at this time of year when Black Friday shopping is coming!

Creating Holiday Flavors
While we got a lot of use out of the Ninja Creami during the summer, we loved the creamy ice cream so much that I wanted to makes some different seasonal flavors so we can enjoy it year round. This creamy homemade eggnog ice cream is packed full of holiday flavor of traditional eggnog and ground spices, it will become a favorite holiday tradition to serve at your holiday party.
The great thing about making this ice cream is that eggnog is already a heavy cream base – so it is the only ingredient you need for the ice cream machine. Eggnog fans might be picky about the recipe that you use, but whether your making fresh eggnog from scratch or buying your favorite store brand they both come out delicious and creamy. You can always feel free to adjust the taste of your eggnog beforehand by adding in an extra dash of nutmeg, brown sugar, or even a few tablespoons of dark rum. Once you have a taste of this classic eggnog recipe with a perfect velvety texture you’ll never go back to the store-bought versions! I also love this recipe for after the holiday season as a great way to use up leftover eggnog that might be in the fridge.
This recipe has already got me thinking about other different holiday flavors to experiment with my Creami Ninja – candy canes or bread pudding… the possibilities are endless (and delicious!)
