This crockpot turkey breast is a foolproof recipe that will have you craving turkey year round not just at Thanksgiving. Every time I have made this it makes the most succulent, flavorful and juicy turkey with barely any prep. Cooking a turkey doesn’t need to be complicated.

The juices in the bottom of the crockpot along with the onions makes for the most delicious gravy.

Crockpot Turkey Breast Ingredients
- Turkey Breast– I like the butterball turkey breasts they usually come frozen. I usually look for a turkey breast between 3-6 lbs. I prefer a boneless turkey breast but this recipe works with both.
- Olive Oil– or softened butter works as a great base of the rub.
- Onions– Adds a great flavor to the turkey. As they steam it helps add moisture and flavor.
- Seasonings– Garlic powder, onion powder, dried rosemary, dried thyme, salt and pepper.
This herb butter turkey rub also works great in the crockpot.
How to cook a boneless turkey breast in a crockpot?
- Remove turkey from packaging along with the gravy packet. Leave the string netting on the turkey, this helps the boneless turkey breast keep it’s shape. With a paper towel pat the turkey dry.
- In a small bowl mix together garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper.
- Cover the turkey in 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Rub the dry rub all over the turkey breast.
- Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the crockpot. Place onions in the bottom of the crockpot an place the turkey breast on top of the onions.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it on low for 3-4 hours.
- When internal temperature of the turkey is at 165º F remove turkey and transfer to a baking dish. For a crispier skin broil in the oven for 5-8 minutes. Let turkey rest 15-20 minutes before slicing and serving.

- 3 lb Boneless Turkey Breast
- 4 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 Onions, Quartered
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Dried Rosemary
- 1 Teaspoon Dried Thyme
- ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper
- ½ Teaspoon Salt
Instructions

A 3-4 lb boneless turkey breast takes 3-4 hours on low in a crockpot. It should be cooked to the internal temp of 165º F .
1-2 days in the refrigerator in packaging. Looking to thaw it quicker? Leave the turkey breast in its packaging and submerge it in cold water for 3-5 hours. Change water ever 30-45 minutes. Once thawed place back in the the refrigerator until you are ready to cook it.
